The customer screen

Kesher Cham (“warm contact”) was a CRM we built for tracking open deals: it logged every call with the customer and made sure someone was reminded to call back — until the deal closed.

How it worked

A reminder reset at every call

A set time after a quote went out, the software prompted a call to the customer, and at the end of each call the next one was scheduled.

A reminder that escalates when ignored

The notice rose from the bottom of the screen, and its colour shifted gradually from pale blue to red the longer it went unanswered.

Nothing done — the manager hears about it

A reminder left unhandled triggered an SMS to the manager.

A call summary, and the recording when needed

Call summaries were kept in the software, with the option to record the call and listen back later.

Linked to the back-office software

It interfaced with the Isskit back-office package, and the design allowed the same link to other packages.

What stayed with us

These ideas — automatic follow-up, an escalating reminder and an alert to the manager — live today inside the systems we build for our customers: the task queue in EMS, and the alerts and standing orders in the system for non-profits.
