Privacy policy

This site collects very little. This page sets out exactly what, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

The contact form

When you send us a message through the form, we keep what you filled in: name, organisation, phone, email, the message itself and the page it was sent from. These are stored in the site's database and also emailed to our inbox so that we can reply.

• What it is used for: answering your enquiry and managing the business relationship that follows from it. Nothing else.
• No mailings: there is no mailing list and we send no newsletter. Using the form subscribes you to nothing.
• No sharing: we do not sell, rent or pass your details to anyone, apart from the infrastructure providers listed below and where the law requires it.
• Bot protection: the form carries a hidden field that only automated software fills in. A submission caught that way is stored separately together with the IP address it came from, so that repeat nuisance can be blocked. Ordinary submissions do not have an IP address stored.

Usage measurement

We measure traffic with Umami, open-source software we run on our own server at stats.oneplusone.co.il — not on a third-party analytics service.

• It uses no cookies and creates no persistent identifier that follows you between sites. That is also why this site has no cookie banner.
• What is kept is aggregate: page viewed, referring page, browser, operating system, screen size and country. The IP address is used in processing and is not itself stored.
• A successful contact-form submission is counted as an event — as a number only, without the message and without the sender's details.

Cookies

• Language cookie (lang) — remembers whether you chose Hebrew or English. It is functional; without it the site simply falls back to the default language.
• Sign-in cookie — created only when a site administrator signs in to the management screens. An ordinary visitor never receives it.

External services the page loads

• The typeface is hosted by us. The font files come from this site’s own server rather than from Google’s, so loading a page exposes your IP address to no third party.
• Google Workspace — our outgoing mail, including the message sent to us from the contact form, goes through Google's mail service.
• The site is hosted on our own server in Oracle Cloud, in Europe.

How long we keep it

Contact-form enquiries are kept for as long as they matter to the business relationship, and at most seven years, in line with record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to delete them sooner, and we will.

Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 — and, where it applies to you, under the GDPR — you may inspect the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to the management screens is password-protected, and passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes rather than as text. We cannot promise absolute security, and as with any site a residual risk remains.

Changes to this policy

If we add another measurement or advertising tool, we will update this page before that tool goes live, and change the date below.
