Systems that combine software and hardware
Cameras, readers, printers and sensors — complete systems, not just code.
When software meets hardware, the project changes: drivers, physical faults, an environment that does not forgive. Few software houses are willing to take end-to-end responsibility for that combination — we are.
Our systems drive cameras, barcode and credit-card readers, printers, optical sensors, display screens and e-ink devices — in production, at customers, for years.
Combinations running in production
The ALIST stations
Exhibition registration and management: cameras, barcode and credit-card readers and printers in one station.
Read the caseSensor calibration for Siemens
A system for calibrating the optical sensors that track the sun’s position in solar installations.
More hardware workHoshen — synagogue board
A display screen running continuously in the synagogue, with computed times and live notices.
Product pageQuestions that keep coming up
What kinds of hardware have you already driven?
Cameras, barcode and credit-card readers, printers, optical sensors, display screens and e-ink devices — in all of them, our software drives the hardware in production.
Do you choose the hardware as well?
Usually yes: we recommend hardware that meets the requirements, test it in-house, and deliver a complete system — not software in search of hardware.
What happens when hardware fails in the field?
That is part of the design: fault detection, remote reporting, and degraded-mode operation where possible. A system that only works when everything is fine is not a production system.
An idea that needs hardware?
Describe the need — we will say what it takes to turn it into a system.
